Unizik student electrocuted while ironing in his hostel 

A student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University has d!ed after being electrocuted while ironing.

The student, known by his nickname Fedwin, was a 200-level undergraduate living in an off-campus lodge.

Over the weekend, he reportedly collapsed while ironing his clothes. A video shared online shows him lying motionless on the floor with the iron resting on his chest, while lodge mates made frantic calls for help.

Additional photos later showed him being carried out of the hostel and taken to a hospital.

Later, Unizik studets posted updates on Facebook, mourning him, indicating he did not make it.
