Eight family members d!e as vehicle plunges into river in Benue

Eight members of the same family have d!ed after the bus they were travelling in veered off the road and plunged into the River Dura in Kwande Local Government Area of Benue State.

The tragic accident occurred on November 21, 2025, while the family including four children was on their way for burial preparations.

The victims were laid to rest on Wednesday, November 25, in the Mbagbera–Mbakye community of Vandeikya Local Government Area.
