Senator Abba Moro Loses Son and Grandson Two Days Apart
Senate Minority Leader, Senator Patrick Abba Moro, has been thrown into mourning following the death of two close family members within two days.
The lawmaker’s grandson passed away first, and just a day after the burial, his son, Victor Moro, also tragically lost his life in a car accident.
Victor, who recently returned to Nigeria after completing his studies in Turkey, was on his way to commence the compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme when the accident occurred along the Mararaba axis of Nasarawa State.
The devastating incident happened less than 24 hours after his nephew’s funeral, deepening the grief of the Moro family.
Moro’s son had reportedly travelled from his family home to attend to personal matters when the accident occurred.
Victor was one of Moro’s children from his marriage to Veronica Moro.
