Late Singer Tina Turner’s Son, Ike Turner Jr., Passes Away at 67
Ike Turner Jr., the son of music icons Tina Turner and Ike Turner Sr., has died at the age of 67.
According to TMZ, Tina’s niece, Jacqueline Bullock, confirmed that Ike Jr. passed away on Saturday at a Los Angeles hospital following kidney failure. She disclosed that he had battled serious heart issues for years and suffered a stroke in early September.
Born in 1958 to Ike Sr. and Lorraine Taylor, Ike Jr. was later adopted by Tina Turner and grew up surrounded by the spotlight as his parents rose to fame in the 1960s and ’70s.
After Tina’s separation from Ike Sr., Ike Jr. briefly worked alongside his mother as a sound engineer before branching out on his own.
He was one of four children connected to the iconic pair, though he mostly lived a private life away from the spotlight in later years.
His father, Ike Turner Sr., passed away in 2007, and his mother, Tina Turner, died in 2023.
Ike Turner Jr. was 67.
