Four arrested for illegal refuse dump in Lagos
The LAWMA Waste Infractions Surveillance and Investigation Team has arrested four individuals for illegally dumping refuse at an unauthorized site near Ayobo-Ipaja Road on December 4, 2025.
The state Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, announced the arrests on social media, stating that the suspects have been handed over to LAWMA’s legal unit at the Oshodi Mobile Court for appropriate prosecution.
He identified the suspects as Okoro Stella, 50 (female); Abraham Oluwalogbin, 25 (male); Nwakego Chiyenre, 48 (female); and Ofili Tolulope, 19 (female).
