Donald Trump told a female reporter to “Quiet, piggy” after she questioned him about the Epstein files.
Newly released footage captures the moment President Donald Trump called a female reporter a “pig,” pointed a finger in her face, and ordered her to be quiet aboard Air Force One.
In the video, the journalist is seen asking Trump a question about the Epstein investigation.
“If there’s nothing incriminating in the files, then why” she began, before Trump abruptly cut her off, gesturing toward another female reporter and saying, “Quiet, piggy.”
The comment has drawn strong criticism from both Democrats and Republicans, who have condemned the remark as highly unprofessional.
Occupy Democrats wrote: “This is the President of the United States. This is how he talks to the press and other adults that he is supposed to lead. America can do so much better!”
His outburst on Air Force One wasn’t the first time he’s berated a reporter.
Today, Nov. 18, the US House is expected to vote on legislation to force the Justice Department to publicly release its files on the late financier Epstein.
Trump said he would sign the bill releasing the files if it passes both the House and the Senate.
