Woman brutally murd£red after allegedly being lured by her fiancé who is now on the run
A young woman, identified as Ogechukwu Mmadubugwu, has been found brutally murdered in the home of her fiancé, who allegedly lured her there under the pretext of illness.
Reports indicate that Ogechukwu visited the residence of her fiancé, Valentine Chibuike Anaikpe, at about 9 p.m. on Monday, December 8, after he claimed to be sick and in need of medication. She reportedly purchased the drugs and took them to him, but upon arrival, Valentine allegedly said his condition had worsened and persuaded her to stay the night.
According to Ogechukwu’s cousin, Angela Mmadubugwu Ike, who shared the incident on Facebook, the deceased had called her mother to inform her of the situation before spending the night at her fiancé’s home.
When there was no word from Ogechukwu the following day, December 9, and repeated attempts to reach both her and Valentine failed, concerned family members went to his house. There, they discovered Ogechukwu’s body, reportedly bearing multiple stab wounds inflicted with knives and other sharp objects.
“Her bl00d was all over the house,” Angela disclosed, adding, “The guy was no where to be found and till now, nobody knows his whereabouts.”
Angela stated that “Ogechukwu deserves justice” and called on well-meaning Nigerians to help locate the fleeing fiancé and report to the nearest police station if they have information on his whereabouts.
