Tommy Fury calls the rumors about his split from Molly-Mae Hague ‘horrendous.’
Tommy Fury has described the speculation surrounding his split from Molly-Mae Hague as “horrendous.”
The couple, who found love on the 2019 series of ITV2’s Love Island, confirmed their break-up in separate social media posts earlier this month.
The 25-year-olds, who welcomed their daughter Bambi in January last year, have faced a challenging time.
“The past few weeks have been heartbreaking,” the professional boxer shared on Instagram. “The false allegations against me have been horrendous. Thank you to everyone who has supported me through this.”
Earlier this week, Hague expressed gratitude to her fans for their support following the break-up.
She shared a photo on Instagram of herself leaning on a wooden railing overlooking a body of water, captioning it: “Thank you for being the best online friends I could’ve ever wished for.”
The reality TV star and influencer announced their split earlier this month in an Instagram story, writing: “Never in a million years did I think I’d have to write this.
“After five years together, I never imagined our story would end, especially not like this.
“I am deeply saddened to announce that Tommy and I have ended our relationship.
“I will always be grateful for the most important thing in my life, my beautiful daughter.
“Without us, there would be no her, and she will always be my priority.
“Thank you all for the love and support you’ve shown us over the past five years. You’ve been a part of our journey, and I feel it’s important to share this with you.
“As I navigate the days and weeks ahead, please respect my privacy during this difficult time. I’ll return when the time feels right. Molly-Mae x.”
Less than an hour later, Fury shared his own Instagram story, expressing that he was “heartbroken” to announce the news and emphasizing that Bambi is their “priority.”
Fury had proposed last year at a picturesque seaside location adorned with hundreds of flowers and petals.
The former couple also appeared in the Netflix reality series *At Home With The Furys*, alongside Fury’s half-brother, former heavyweight world boxing champion Tyson Fury.
