Behind the scenes, producers are said to be throwing everything they’ve got at the latest series in a bid to prove there is still plenty of life left in the much-loved reality hit.
The dramatic push comes as speculation continues to swirl over Big Brother’s future, with insiders claiming a 2027 series is far from guaranteed.
ITV has insisted that no decision has been made about the show’s future.
But according to insiders, the uncertainty has left those working on the programme facing an anxious wait, with the possibility of Big Brother returning in 2027 reportedly still up in the air.
The show has undergone several changes in recent years as bosses have attempted to keep viewers hooked, but there are now questions over whether the reality favourite will be given another series.
For fans who have followed the housemates’ arguments, romances, nominations and explosive evictions, the prospect of saying goodbye to Big Brother once again could come as a major blow.
And with bosses seemingly determined to prove the show still has what it takes, the latest series could prove crucial in deciding whether the cameras are switched back on for another summer of drama.
