Suspected Kidnappers M*urder Hotelier in Kwara

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have shot and k!lled a hotelier, Chief David Oladepo Aina, popularly known as Kebe, in Oro Ago community, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.

Aina, the owner of Kebe Hotel, was attacked by the gunmen who stormed the community on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

The incident reportedly occurred at about 4 p.m. at the hotel premises.

Eyewitnesses said the assailants attempted to abduct him, but when he resisted, they opened fire and fatally shot him.

Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Adekimi Ojo, who confirmed the incident, dismissed reports that other residents were abducted during the attack.

“Nobody was kidnapped, but one hotelier was k!lled during the attack on the community,” the CP stated.
