“I Took My Daughter to a Club at 17 — I Even Gave Her Her First Drink,” Says Laide Bakare

Nollywood Actress Laide Bakare Sparks Reactions After Revealing She Introduced Her Daughter to Clubbing and Alcohol at 17

In a recent interview, Laide Bakare disclosed that she was the one who first took her daughter to a nightclub and even gave her her first alcoholic drink at age 17.

The actress explained that her daughter had asked to spend a night out with about six or seven friends in a luxury apartment, which led to the experience.

According to her, the girls were just 16 and 17, “being newly introduced to life.”

The actress went on to admit that she personally gave her daughter her first club experience and even her first alcoholic drink. “In fact, I’m the first person that will bring her to a club. That was her first club experience ever. And I like the fact that, in her memory, her very first alcoholic drink and clubbing was through me,” Laide said.
