President Bola Tinubu is holding a closed-door meeting with Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The meeting follows Fubara’s return to office on September 19, after Tinubu lifted the state of emergency earlier declared in Rivers.
It will be recalled that the President had imposed the emergency rule on March 18, 2025, amid the prolonged political crisis between Governor Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike.
