Widow k!lled while working on her farm in Bauchi

A widow, Salomi Benjamin, has been found d£ad after being attacked by unknown assailants while working on her farm in Kafin Tafawa, a community on the outskirts of Bauchi metropolis.

Her body was discovered on the farm, located about two kilometers from her home.

According to her son, Simeon, Salomi left for the farm around 8 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025, but never made it back.

Concerned about her whereabout, the family began a search, only to find her d3ad in the evening.
Alex Markus, a neighbor to the deceased, described the k!lling as both tragic and senseless.
He praised the prompt response of the Yelwa Divisional Police Officer but urged authorities to intensify efforts in uncovering those behind the heinous act.
At the time of filing this report, the Bauchi State Police Command had not officially commented on the incident.
