Troops neutralize four suspected armed robbers on Jos–Bauchi highway

Troops on routine patrol have gunned down four suspected armed robbers along the Jos–Bauchi highway, recovering weapons and ammunition from the scene.

Security analyst Zagazola Makama revealed that the operation was based on credible intelligence about ongoing robbery activities in the area.

The soldiers quickly mobilised and engaged the suspects in a fierce gun battle, resulting in the deaths of four assailants.

Recovered arms and ammunition have since been secured, while the swift action of the troops has restored calm along the Jos–Bauchi route.
