The Niger State Police Command has recovered a stolen two-year-old girl who was trafficked and sold to three different buyers including an Abuja pastor for a total of N6.6 million.
In a statement on Thursday, November 27, 2025, the command’s spokesperson, SP Wasiu Abiodun, identified the victim as Rahamat Mohammed. He said she was abducted from Sabon-Wuse in Tafa Local Government Area by a suspected human trafficker, Victoria Ebunoha Chukwumezie.
Abiodun revealed that Chukwumezie, who had previously been arrested with three other stolen children, sold Rahamat to a woman known as Rosemary in Nyanya, Abuja. Rosemary then resold the child to an Abuja-based pastor, Vincent Emmanuel, for N2.8 million.
Pastor Emmanuel subsequently sold the girl to a London-based woman, Anthonia Nwabufor, for N3.8 million.
