Family and friends mourn as Nigerian woman loses her three children in 2025
Friends and loved ones have been plunged into mourning following the heartbreaking loss suffered by a Nigerian woman, Ba’rigima Hassanah Hamza, who lost all three of her children within the same year.
Reports indicate that the three children d!ed at different times in 2025, with the youngest, a toddler, passing away on Tuesday, December 9.
Details surrounding the circumstances of their deaths have not been made public.
One of her friends, Buithat Hudu disclosed that the child was buried according to Islamic rite on Wednesday.
“My heart goes out to Ba’rigima Hassanah Hamza, ya Allah this is painful 3 children gone this year,” she wrote.
“Death is inevitable. Oh Allah, we beseech you, may our children outlive us and bury us, rather than the other way around. Ba’rigima Hassanah Masianah May He comfort you and be with you during this difficult time,” one Hameed Akindele wrote.
