DSS Arrests Two Dismissed Operatives for Impersonation and Fraud

The Department of State Services (DSS) has confirmed the arrest of two dismissed operatives, Barry Donald and Victor Onyedikachi Godwin, who were recently declared wanted for their involvement in fraudulent activities.

In a statement posted on its official X account on Wednesday, October 15, the DSS stated that the duo has been taken into custody and will be prosecuted in accordance with the law.

“These individuals were alleged to be cloaking under the Service to engage in fraudulent activities. The public is hereby notified that these culprits have been apprehended and will face prosecution in accordance with the law” the statement read

The Service added that it has further resolved to publish the names of other personnel who were dismissed in the past, to prevent citizens from falling victim to the possible criminal intent of any of these individuals.

For requests, enquiries, or complaints, the DSS has directed members of the public to reach it on 09088373515 or via email: dsspr@dss.gov.ng.
