#AnambraDecides: Governor Soludo wins Peter Obi’s polling unit

Incumbent Governor and candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has won at the polling unit of Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi.

Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, voted at Umudimakasi, Agulu Ward 2, Polling Unit 008, where a large crowd of residents and supporters had gathered earlier to welcome him.

According to results announced by the presiding officer, Soludo polled 19 votes, defeating his closest rival, Nicholas Chukwujekwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who garnered 10 votes.

The Young Progressives Party (YPP) received four votes, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled one vote.
