The Doobie Brothers 2025 tour with Coral Reefer Band
The Doobie Brothers are gearing up for a summer tour in support of their new album, Walk This Road, set for release on June 6. The tour kicks off on August 4 in Detroit.
The band—featuring Patrick Simmons, Tom Johnston, John McFee, and Michael McDonald—will be joined at every stop by The Coral Reefer Band, the longtime touring and recording group of the late Jimmy Buffett, who had requested they continue performing after his passing in 2023.
“We can’t wait to see everyone and share our new music with fans. Having The Coral Reefer Band join us makes this tour extra special for both the audience and us,” Simmons said in the tour announcement. “Doobies and Reefers—sounds like a perfect match!”
Presales for the Walk This Road Tour begin at 10 a.m. local time on February 11, with general ticket sales opening on February 14 via LiveNation.com and TheDoobieBrothers.com. Additional dates are expected to be announced.
The Doobie Brothers, set to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in June, will also perform in the U.K. and Ireland this summer, including at Jeff Lynne’s ELO farewell concert at London’s Hyde Park.
Their new album—the first studio release from this lineup in over 40 years—features 10 tracks, including the title song with Mavis Staples, and is available for preorder now.
